More About Ski Mount Southington

After a ski trip to Vermont with his wife, Dr. Harold Richmond returned home to Connecticut inspired to build a family-friendly ski area right in the community. He searched for just the right spot and discovered it at an old dairy farm in Southington. A few years and plenty of hard work later, Richmond and his wife were proud to open Ski Mount Southington to the public and welcome people from all over the region to a place where skiers could be active, smile, and enjoy the winter season.
